A Champion for Northampton County Families

As our State Representative, Ann has continued her commitment to helping and serving others because nothing is more important to her than faith, family, country, and community.

Her journey to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives was driven by a profound desire to make a difference and to improve the lives of others. Elected in 2020, Ann has worked hard to be a strong advocate and to represent the priorities of her constituents in Northampton’s 138th District in Harrisburg and here at home.

Prior to her election to the State House, Ann used her business skills to establish and lead Lauren’s Hope Foundation to enhance the quality of life for brain-injured children and offer support for their families. Ann started the foundation in 2008 in memory of her daughter, Lauren, who was only 4 years old when she passed away as the result of a brain injury sustained at birth.

Ann’s work with Lauren’s Hope Foundation has helped fund hypothermia therapy equipment to support a cutting-edge treatment program at the Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; helped families pay for treatments that weren’t covered by insurance; and provided specialized equipment that enabled children to remain at home with their families rather than forcing them to live in a residential nursing facility.

Using her background and experience as our State Representative, Ann has been a strong voice for our families and the issues we care about most including accessible healthcare, a quality education for our children, strong support for law enforcement and our first responders who keep our communities safe, and her collaboration with the small businesses who enhance the local economy and create the family sustaining jobs our workers need.

Providing strong educational opportunities lies at the heart of Ann's mission in the legislature, striving to secure funding for Pennsylvania's schools, colleges, universities, trade programs and other educational institutions to ensure every student has access to quality learning opportunities. She is also focused on finding commonsense solutions that will stabilize health care costs and expand access to mental health services for all who are in need.

In the current legislative term, Ann serves on key committees including Appropriations, Labor and Industry, Liquor Control, and Aging and Older Adult Services. Her leadership extends further as Deputy Chair on Tourism for the Policy Committee, and as a member of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Women.

A native of Wind Gap, Ann and her husband, Daniel, call Bath home. They take immense pride in their family, which includes their children Jake and Ella, and honor the memory of their daughter, Lauren. Ann graduated from Pen Argyl Area High School before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a concentration in chemistry and psychology from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

As our State Representative, Ann will continue to be a champion for Northampton County families, seniors, veterans and our communities.
